The easiest way to format your page is to use Qollage's right-click menus. You can only edit the Qollages you created. You must also be in Edit mode to access the menus described in this section. While in Edit mode, simply right-click on an the background of your page, on a picture, or on a text object and a menu will display.
Using Right-click Menus:
To open a right-click menu, simply click the right button on the mouse - Mac users who have a single button mouse should hold down the Control key while clicking.
There are three right-click menus:
- The Page Menu: Displays when you right-click on the page's background
- The Image Menu: Displays when you right-click on an image
- The Text Menu: Displays when you right-click on a text block
For example, to change the background color of your page:
- Right-click anywhere on the background of your page
- Select the menu item named Background
- Select any color from the menu that displays

This menu also opens when the Qollage link in the lower left corner is clicked.
My Qollages
The My Qollages page shows all the Qollages you're created with their thumbnail image, title and description. The thumbnail for each Qollage uses the first image on the first page of the Qollage. You can change the title and description of a Qollage by selecting Qollage Properties.
Send
Used to send an email link to friends or family. Select Send then enter as many email addresses as you want. If you're sending to more than one email addresses, be sure to separate the email addresses with a semi-colon (;). For example: john@test.com; bill@test.com.
Qollage Properties
Select Qollage Properties to change the title and description of your Qollage. When you create a new Qollage you're prompted to name it and enter a description. Qollage Properties allows you to edit that information.
Go To
Use the Go To menu to jump to any page in your Qollage.

Displays this file.
Upload
Selecting Upload displays the upload form used to add images to your Qollage. There are two upload methods. There's a simple form that allows you to upload up to seven files at a time. There's also an option to use a Java uploader which is much faster and easier to use. You can drag and drop images on the form or entire folders if you want.
To use the Java Uploader, first make sure you have the correct version of Java installed by viewing this page: Verify Java Version. If you're warned you don't have the recommended version of Java installed, click the Download Now link and upgrade your Java.
- Once you've verified you have the correct version of Java installed:
Go to your My Qollages page - Click the Session User ID link at the bottom left of the page
- Change Uploader to Java by clicking the radio button to its left. If you have problems uploading, verify that you have the correct version of Java installed. If you still have upload problems, switch back your Uploader back to HTML and email us at support@qollage.com.
Add Text
Selecting Add Text adds a new text block to your page. The new text block is added at the very top left of the page. To position it, simply click on it and drag. To style the text block, right click on the text block and select the Style menu. You can change the font, font size, font color, text alignment and background color from this menu.
Background
Use the Background menu to change the background color or text of your page.
Add New Page
Adds a new page at the end of your Qollage.
The Image Menu
Right-click on any image to open the Image Menu
Delete
Deletes the image you clicked on. A confirmation dialog will display to verify you really do want to delete the image.
Copy To
Use the Copy To menu copy the selected image to any page in your Qollage. The image will display in the same position on both pages.
Move To
Use the Move To command to move the selected image to any page in your Qollage.
Clone
Creates a copy of the selected image on the current page.
The Text Menu
Deletes the image you clicked on. A confirmation dialog will display to verify you really do want to delete the image.
Copy To
Use the Copy To menu copy the selected text block to any page in your Qollage. The text block will display in the same position on both pages.
Move To
Use the Move To command to move the selected text block to any page in your Qollage.
Clone
Creates a copy of the selected text block on the current page.
Edit
Opens the text editor so you can change the text in the text block.
Style
Use the Style menu to change the text block's:
- Font: Set the font face for the entire text block
- Size: Set the font size for the entire text block
- Alignment: Set the text block's text to be right, left, centered, or justified
- Color: Set the color of the text in the text block
- Background: Set the background color of the text block
