Snow and ice greeted me as I went to work at a long distance company next to the Revere T-Station. T-tokens were cheap and could get you almost anywhere -- mostly along the Red and Green lines.
During the stifling Summer, I would watch the fans rotate way too slowly making you more misrable than if they didn't have any fans at all.
Every corner it seemed had a Dunkin' Donuts and "regular" coffee wasn't a size. People took "r" sounds out where they should be spoken and added "r" sounds where they had no place.
I will always remember hearing a violinist playing "Purple Haze" in one of the T-stations and how it made me smile.
My time in Boston was an adventure. I embraced and experienced Boston, the outskirts, and New England in the year I lived there.
Even knowing what I know now, I would do it over again.

From January 1989 to November 1989, I lived in Boston just to get an idea what it was like to live outside the San Francisco Bay Area.
This is the view of the drive as you approach the skyline of Boston.
According to an Astrological Map given to me before I left, the East Coast would be very turmultuous and emotional. It also said that the perfect place for me in the world is India. Go figure.
