Added more options to the Create Qollage dialog.

Click the screenshot on the right to see the new dialog options.

1. Add Link to My Home. This adds a link to the page that is displayed when you login.
2. Add Link to this Page. This lets you easily create a 'tree' of Qollages. Create a Qollage, double click the new Qollage to edit it, create another Qollage, etc.
3. Add a Return Link. This creates a link back to the Qollage you were in when you created the new Qollage.

Lots of tweaks and new features. The landing page is now fully editable, it's essentially just another Qollage that you can add text, images, video, etc. to.

You can now link Qollages together. For example, if you and a friend are both Qollage members, you could create a new Qollage titled 'Friends' and link your friend's Qollage Home Page to it. There are some linked Qollage examples in the Featured Qollages that display before you login.

Added a comment system. There's a new icon at the bottom of the Qollage - you can see it on this page. Click it to enter a comment. Anyone, including non-logged in users, can enter Comments. Comments can be deleted by the Qollage owner or the comment creator. Guests cannot delete their comments.

Miscellaneous improvments to video layering so the video no longer draws on top of dialogs, etc.

Added more image support and video improments. You can now get images from your Flickr or SmugMug account. The page is ugly right now, but the basic functionality is thee.

Hulu.com gave us permission for Qollage users to embed their video. They even said Qollage is "cool". So did the guy at SmugMug.

Added embeddable Google Maps. Select Advanced -> Embed -> Google Map. You can then click on the map to drag it and position it. Doubleclick to zoom it or use the controls at the top right.

To move the map on your page, click on the handle at the upper right. Since the map is "live" we have to use a handle of some sort for dragging it. The handle should probably be larger.

Coming: We'll probably add some way to add markers.

We now have an image repository. Once you've uploaded an image, you can add it to other Qollages. To do that:

1. Edit one of your Qollages
2. Right-click so the background menu displays
3. Select "Add Images..."
4. Select the images to add to the Qollage
5. Click "Add Selected"

When you remove an image from a Qollage, it's still in your account and can be used in other Qollages. If you need to delete images from your account, click the "Images" button on your My Qollages page.

Added a tag cloud. Click the "Tags" button at the top of your My Qollages page to view it.

We're on our own servers now - a couple Sun X2200s. Should give use a significant performance boost. Also have new page navigation widgets so we could get rid of the default ugly gray buttons.

Internet Explorer 6

IE6 is slow when viewing many sites that use javascript - that includes Qollage. Microsoft has a fix that anyone still using IE6 should install. Click HERE to read about the fix and download it. Better yet -- upgrade to IE 7 or Firefox. They're both free and MUCH better browsers.
